He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Irene Sauvé; his parents, John McManus and Mary Stringer; and his siblings, Margaret Bolton (Frank), Micheal McManus, Kathleen McManus, Donal McManus (Stacia), Louis McManus (Sheila), Sheila Stewart (John) and Ethna Ford (Doug).
He is survived by: his children, Kelly (Roachelle LaPrairie), Gerard (Anna-Lise Wycoff), Desmond (Beryl Bachus), Mary Ann (Martin Champagne), Pauline (Nick Gaudry), Kathleen, Patricia (Brian Enman) and Andrew; the mother of his children Pauline Kelly-Smith (Frank Smith); his daughter Stephanie Smith; his grandchildren, Sam Lafortune, Dana, Jordan, Matthew, Stewart, Andrew Chase, Laurent, Vivienne, Hendrika, Josephina, Rebecca (Disco), Allyson, Georgia and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Mataya, Leo, Jane, Fanny, Patrick James, Erandi, Sullivan, Aleaha and Macklin; his extended family, Sue O'Connor (Pat), Nancy Charbonneau (Micheal), Darlene Villeneuve (Trevor Brown) and Debbie Neill (Paul Hamilton); his brother Paul McManus (late Norma); and his sister-in-law Sylvia McManus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and dear friends.
