He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gordon Thoms, Frances Thoms and Jim Malchow of Fraser Lake, BC; and his uncle Ken Thoms. He is survived by: his parents, Dan and Marlene; his brothers, Ryan (Chelsea) and Garrett Thoms; his grandmother Eileen Malchow; and his pets, Dexter and Rusty. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, friends.
He also worked at the Running Room for seven years, Oxford Learning Centres as an academic tutor, Ryan's Well Foundation as an education assistant, the YMCA as a Health, Fitness and Recreation Supervisor and Play It Again Sports in customer service.
