It is with great sadness that we announce the death of José Antonio Dias (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Dias; his children, Gaspar (Paula), Maria (José Luis), José (Julie) and Laura (Paulo); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Stephanie, Alexander, Daniel, Avelina, Nicolas, Luka, Daniela and Noah; and his great grandchild Crew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (1200 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON K1J8V1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Senhor Santo Cristo Parish (1100 Kenaston St, Ottawa, ON K1B3P5). A burial was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (455 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K0V2).
