He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; and his parents, Joseph Barthelette Sr. and Eva Barthelette. He is survived by: his children, Tina, Michael (late Lisa) and Mandy (Phil); his grandchildren, Phillip, Jessica, Jacob, Hannah and Mikayla; and his sister Marcelle (Rene). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K4M1B2).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Joe's memory.
