He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frank Martyniuk and Lillian Filas; and his sisters, Stasia and Irene Momotiuk (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Heather Hodgins; his son Andrew Martyniuk (Nikki); and his siblings, Lydia and Tania. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions, a Memorial Service to celebrate Joseph's Life will be held at a later date.

Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in his memory would be appreciated.
