Forever, she was Betty's best friend, and as such she became a stand-in for my mom after her passing, whether June knew it or not. Lu and I talked about her every July, and often at other times as well. Because Betty and June visited us in Calgary together, Lu's parents got to know and love June as well. I'll always treasure the summer I lived with your parents. ❤️ John”
