She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Boyd and Florence Boyd (McCord); and her brother Barry Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Payne; her children, Ian, David and Jill; and her grandchildren, Kelsey, Destin and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes (1610 Roger Stevens Dr, Kars, ON K0A2E0). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tubman Funeral Homes (1610 Roger Stevens Dr, Ottawa, ON K0A2E0).
