He is survived by: his wife Elke; his daughters, Christiane (Russell) and Dorothee (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Alexandra (Harry), Natasha (Glenn) and Patrick (Regan); his great grandchildren, Finley, Francesca, Philippa and Colette; and his sisters, Dörthe (Peter) and Antje. He is also survived by family and his many friends.
