It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Mavis Underhill (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Kathleen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Desmond; her children, Susan (late Peter LeFebvre) and Paul (Jocelyn Barden); and her grandchildren, Marc, Sarah LeFebvre (Andrew Krieger) and Callum Underhill.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
