Kathleen (Ashfield) Mildred Murray Obituary

The memory of Kathleen (Ashfield) Mildred Murray of Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kingsley McLaren and Lucy Julia Ashfield; her brothers, John Ashfield (late Judy) and James Ashfield (Hana); and her brother-in-law Bill Murray (late Helen).

She is survived by: her husband James Murray (Jim); her children, Dave (Kathy), Gord (Erica), Kathy (Jo) and Chris (Laurie); her grandchildren, Jasmine (Ted), Karin, Rachel (Brian), Louisa (Bendix), Geoff (Hannah), Nicole (Neil), Ryan (Stefani) and Brandon (Kieran); and her siblings-in-law, Hana Ashfield and Hank Murray (Eleanor). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Presbyterian Church (120 Lisgar St, Ottawa, ON K2P2L7).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church Ottawa would be welcomed.
