She was predeceased by: her parents, Kingsley McLaren and Lucy Julia Ashfield; her brothers, John Ashfield (late Judy) and James Ashfield (Hana); and her brother-in-law Bill Murray (late Helen).

She is survived by: her husband James Murray (Jim); her children, Dave (Kathy), Gord (Erica), Kathy (Jo) and Chris (Laurie); her grandchildren, Jasmine (Ted), Karin, Rachel (Brian), Louisa (Bendix), Geoff (Hannah), Nicole (Neil), Ryan (Stefani) and Brandon (Kieran); and her siblings-in-law, Hana Ashfield and Hank Murray (Eleanor). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church Ottawa would be welcomed.
