Kathleen Power Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen Power (Ottawa, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen left this world on February 19, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her parents, Rita Burke and Tony Burke; and her siblings, Patricia, Michael (Ena), Maurice, Eileen (Bill), Joe (Ann), Dessie, Terry (Esther), John (Carol) and Carmelita (Jay).

She is survived by: her sister Joan (Aldo); her children, Lynn (Guy), Catherine (late Mark), James (Caroline), Susanne and Joni (Andrew); her grandchildren, Luc, Justin, Alyssa, Scott, Henry, Sarah and Jenn; her great grandchildren, Kaila (Sebastián), Masen, Brooklyn, Hannah, Owen and Ava; her great great grandchild Mia; her close friends, Theresa Coombs and Naomi Caron; and her child Boy Scouts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish (400 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON K1K2Z6). A reception will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
