Kathryn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Kathryn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Kathryn is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Kathryn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Michael Kidder (Susan) of Mississauga and Jamie Kidder (Sarah) of Ottawa; her granddaughters, Astrid and Ava; her parents, Wilfred Baerg and Margaret "Peg" Baerg; and her siblings, Roberta Boyle (Barry), David (Carolynn), Maggie and Stephen (Nadine). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to a charity of your choice, or one that reflects Kathy's values and passions.
