He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Weir and George Lowther Weir; and his sister Florence Weir. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Jane Weir; his sons, Tony Weir (Anne) and Peter Weir; the mother of his children Evelyn Hunter; his grandsons, Denis Weir (Daiseré) and Colin Weir (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Addison and Malcolm; and his stepchildren, Nadine and Scott Arena.
