He is survived by: his wife Dagmar; his son Jerry; his daughter-in-law Linda; his granddaughter Jessica (Andrei); his nieces, Karole and Kathy; and his nephew Billy.

Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will take place.

It was Kurt's wish that donations in his memory could be made to the Bruyère Continuing Care Foundation.
