With sadness, we share the passing of Kurtis Holmes (Ottawa, Ontario). Kurtis, born on August 19, 1974, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Kurtis for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Kurtis’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his father David Holmes. He is survived by: his mother Maureen Holmes; his wife Tina Robinson; his son Addison Holmes (Kat Hoddinott); his sister Lisa Holmes (Stéphane Shank); his mother-in-law Marion Robinson; his brother-in-law Jason Robinson; his nephews, Bennett and Kurtis; and his niece Violet Shank. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Room Event Times.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society in Kurtis' honour.
