We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2025, at the age of 72, Lawrence Deschamps (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald and Rosemary; and his father-in-law Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Grace Deschamps; his siblings, Denis (Joanne) and Barbie (Bryan); his mother-in-law June; and his siblings-in-law, Alice, John (Jill), Jeff (Ravy) and Norm. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM. A reception was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Institute are much appreciated.
