We are sad to announce that, on February 7, 2026, at the age of 77, Lawrence Edward St. Denis (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Cornwall, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence St. Denis Sr. and Mary St. Denis. He is survived by: his significant other Kelley Murray; his children, Lisa St. Denis, Joey St. Denis, Ashlee Murray and Justin Murray; his grandchildren, Hudson Rowan, Gabrielle, Taylor, Nicholas, Jacob, Korrin, Jhonse and Bryden; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Callahan; his sisters, Beverly Fletcher and Kathleen Tyo; and his close friends, Gino, Jeff and Brody. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

“My heart is heavy as I write this. Uncle Laurency meant so much to me. Growing up, I looked up to him. He was funny, full of jokes, and always pulling pranks that kept us laughing. Christmas was brighter with him around, and in serious moments you knew not to look at him or you’d burst out laughing. He always called me “kid,” and I’ll never forget his contagious smile. Everyone called him Sonny, but to me he was Uncle Laurency. Condolences and sending hugs to everyone who loved him ❤️ XXOO”
