He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Nichols (Wilson); his children, Laurie MacFarlane (Ian), Blair Nichols Cassandra Nichols (Tim Storms) and James Nichols; his granddaughters, Lisa Lambert (Robert) and Sara MacFarlane; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Lincoln and Londyn; his parents, Frederick Nichols and Evelyn (Cavanaugh); and his sister Ruth Ward (Paul).
