Lenard Nelson Baird Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenard Nelson Baird (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merville Baird and Odo Baird; his wife Barbara Baird; his siblings, Audrey Whittle (Doug) and Stan Baird (Marion); and his son-in-law Stewart Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Parsons, Peter Baird (Pamela) and Joanne Minkus (Mitch); his grandchildren, Lyndsey, Matt (Sara), Stephanie (Adam), Ben (Morgan), Andrew (Michelle) and Connor (Dana); his great grandchildren, Addysen, Zackary, Kennedi, Joshua, Evan, Ella, Owen, Beau, Charlie, Kaia and Hanna; and his brother David Baird (Marion). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkdale United Church (429 Parkdale Ave, Ottawa, ON K1Y1H3).
