He is survived by: his wife Micheline; his children, Anne Montreuil (Georges), Luc and Michel (Melodie); his grandchildren, Michel (Zoe), Julie, Kyle (Meagan), Adam and Miriam; his great grandchild Grayson; and his sister Lise Lortie. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Ottawa Food Bank.
