He is survived by: his wife Lily of Year's Eve; his children, Joel (late Alana) and Corrie (Kenneth Straus); and his grandchild Sydney.
Throughout his career, Lew studied and worked on AIDS, cancer, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and finally COVID-19.
