He is survived by: his wife Lily of Year's Eve; his children, Joel (late Alana) and Corrie (Kenneth Straus); and his grandchild Sydney.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jewish Memorial Gardens (6549 Herberts Corners Rd, Greely, ON K4P1H3). Throughout his career, Lew studied and worked on AIDS, cancer, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and finally COVID-19.
