The family announces the passing of Linda (Mary) Wadup (Ottawa, Ontario) on August 24, 2026. Linda, born on March 14, 1948 in Moncton, New Brunswick, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Rose Wadup and George Edward Wadup; and her niece Michelle Hutt. She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Christoff and Jennifer Christoff (Andrew Lockington); her granddaughters, Maya Crowe and Alexa Crowe; her sister Shirley Eggleden (Wadup); and her niece Susan Tibbo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
