We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2026, Lois Thompson (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Lois' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Lois' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her son Philip; her parents, Wilmot Stanley and Margaret Stanley; her sister Maybelle; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Clarke and Marilyn Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Trevor; and her sisters, Marjorie Stanley and Lorna Weigand (Ron). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (8140 Victoria St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0).
