It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne Tosh (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Fergus, Ontario, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Audrey (David Herron), Harold (Hinke), Ernest (Aileen) and Norman (Eve). He is survived by: his wife Rosalind (Irwin); his children, Gary (Kate Schendel) of North Vancouver and Tara (Duane Kennedy) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Finn, Liam Kennedy and Parker Tosh; and his siblings, Donald (Marlene Ladd), Doris (Gus Marranca), Helen (Bill Parkinson), Patricia (Sean McLoughlin) and Georga (Patrick O'Hagan). He is also survived by family members, friends, strangers who became friends.
A celebration of Lorne's life will take place when pandemic restrictions allow such gatherings.
For those wishing, a donation made in Lorne's memory to the Education Foundation of Ottawa or to the Dovercourt Recreation Association in Ottawa would be greatly appreciated.
