A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (153 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A3T8). A reception was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (150 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A3T9).

Donations to an Ottawa Hospital in lieu of flowers is gratefully appreciated.

But Louis was more than a mechanic for me, he was a good friend. I always enjoyed visiting you & Louis on Swans Way, where Louis served me a great deal of slivovitz. Cars were his passion but he could do so much more including helping me once at NRC repairing a laser system. Those were good times.”
