She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Chrétien and Rosario Chrétien; and her husband Jean-Guy Charette. She is survived by: her children, Joanne, Danielle and Patrick; her grandchildren, Latisha, Nicholas, Alexia and Joshua; and her siblings, Thérèse Paré (Paul), Claudette Tardif (Normand) and Richard Chrétien. She is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
