He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph and Maria Conceição Soares Pereira. He is survived by: his children, Lucy, Joana (late Vince), Anna Maria (Luc), Madaleine (Rob), Dulce and Manny; and his sister Amelia. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
