He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadette Lalande and Omer Lalande; and his brother Noel. He is survived by: his wife Diann Lalande; his daughters, Sylvie (Pierrot Simard) and Natalie (Steve Tate); his grandchildren, Vincent, Eve Simard, Reagan and Lincoln Tate; and his siblings, Roger (Lorraine) and Darquise (Régent). He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends, and good neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Rd, Orléans, ON K4A 3P7). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. In memory of Marcel, donations to The Ottawa Cancer Foundation (https://ottawacancer.ca) or to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
