She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Lytle and Rae Lytle (Duncan); her husband Robert William Hughes (Bob); and her daughter Caroline Josephine. She is survived by: her children, Beth Hughes (André Turcotte), Robin Hughes (Sonia LeRoy) and Lynne Hughes; and her grandchildren, Rowan Hughes (Dan Lipsworth), Robbie Hughes and Sheila Davidson. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Anglican Church (1230 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1S3Y3).
