She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Antonio Araujo; her children, Celeste (Paul), Fernando (Violet) and Isabel (Jack); her grandchildren, Haley (Mitchell), Kyle (Hannah), Victoria and Catherine (Rocco); and her parents, Rosa Gomes and Jose Gomes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Cemetery Chapel (4660 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T3W7).
