Maria Lofaro Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lofaro (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Lofaro to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Giovanni Lofaro; and her siblings, Domenico, Giuseppe, Francesco, Antonio, Francesca and Rosa.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Barresi (Antonino) and Antonio (late Virginia); her grandchildren, Gianna-Maria, Cristina, Giovanni, Anthony-John and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Ramsay, Deanna, Carina, Matteo, Massimo and Giuliano; and her sister Angela Salvatore. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will be held at Capital Funeral Home.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and The Arthritis Society of Canada.
