She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Perron and Elizabeth Perron; and her siblings, Cecil, Dorothy, James Ernest, Lorne and Frank.
She is survived by: her significant other Gerald Scullion (Gerry); her children, Lynn (Lloyd Shiomi), Lori (Brendan O'Brien), Gary (Joanne Leo), Gail and Valerie (Moe Ghailan); her grandchildren, Trevor, Jason, Kayla, Malcolm, Jordan, Brianna, Matthew, Logan and Liam; her great grandchildren, Kieran, Elise, Maya and Jack; and her friend Winnie Kornack.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Parish (1489 Shea Rd, Stittsville, ON K2S0G8). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would deeply appreciate donations made in Marie Claire's memory to the Shepherds of Good Hope, an organization close to her heart where she spent many meaningful hours volunteering.
