We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2026, at the age of 95, Mario Dal Grande (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Assunta Stefanelli. He is survived by: his sons, Ernesto (Ruth Sachsalber) and Walter (Elizabeth Wales); his grandchild Jessi; his stepgrandchildren, Candice and Wesley; his sibling Bertilla; his siblings-in-law, Pat, Ruben, Delia, Lynn, Morag and Beverley; and his siblings, Luigi and Maria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
