She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto; her brother Waldo; and her parents, Romilio Gaete and Amanda Arce. She is survived by: her sister Gladys Martinez; her nieces, Jimena Martinez (Shawn Peers) and Monica Martinez (François Toulouse); her great-nephews, Cameron Brown and Adrian Martinez Peers; her great-niece Natalia Martinez Peers; her brother-in-law Jorge Martinez (Louise Whalen); and her cousin Hernán Barrios (Cecilia).
