With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Audrey (Nelson) Montgomery R. N. (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Salmon ARM, British Columbia, who passed away on September 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mary Audrey may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Audrey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. P. Nelson and Mary Irene Andrews of Salmon Arm, B. C; her siblings, Robert Nelson and Shirley Schmitz (Nelson); and her husband Glenn Johston Montgomery.

She is survived by: her sons, Nelson Montgomery (Joanne) and Hugh John Montgomery (Lee-Ann); and her grandchildren, Shannon, Isabelle, Aven and Ronan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their spouses.
