She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Benson (Don); her parents, J. Frederick James (Jim) and Beatrice Maude Thomas (Bea); and her siblings-in-law, David, Wendy, John and Annie Betts.
She is survived by: her children, Sheldon (Cathy) of Ottawa, Susan (David) of Vancouver and Karen (Steve) of Vernon, BC.; her grandchildren, Dylan, Morgan, Ryan, Shane, Michael, Andrew and Lizzie; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Cooper and Georgia; and her siblings, Betty Jane Neill (Bruce), Fred Thomas (Ski) and Peter Thomas (Elaine). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
