In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn (Carnegy); his children, Patricia (Mike Shearon) and David (Paula); his granddaughter Finley Grace; and his siblings, Nancy (Joel), Patricia and Terry (Colleen). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Daley Family Funeral Home (6971 Bank St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (2718 8th Line Rd, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0).
