He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alfred and Léontine Poirier. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Broda; his sons, Daniel and Steven; his grandchildren, Natasha and Zack; and his siblings, Robert, Carmen, Monique, Nicole and Hélène. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
