She was predeceased by: her husband James Joseph Barrett; her siblings, Nicole (Léon Pelletier), Monique, Gilles (Effie), Louis (Margaret) and Pierre (Angèle); and her siblings-in-law, Jane (John Long), Peggy (Richard Schawbb), Patrick (Helen Nuessli) and Dave Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Bussiere (Mike), Jake (Ruth Ghey), Mark, Paul (Angeles Andrade), Greg (Fiona Murphy), Frank (Sylvie Trudel), Anne Bélanger (Denis) and Mary (Harry Prillo); and her siblings, Jean Richard (Jocelyne), Suzanne Scott (late Dave Scott) and Jocelyne Murphy (Derrick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current global pandemic all visitation and funeral ceremonies will be private.
Those wishing to do so may make donations in Michelle's memory to St-Mary's Church in Ottawa or to the Companions of the Cross.
