It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mirko Ðekic (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Stojanka Gluvak; his children, Mladen and Sandra; his children-in-law, Isabelle and Stojan; his granddaughters, Leonora, Lana and Emma; and his siblings, Vitomir and Zora. He was also cherished by numerous cousins and relatives.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 6th 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Serbian Orthodox Church (1993 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, ON K2C3J7). Service will be held at St. Stefan - Serbian Orthodox Church, 1993 Prince of Wales Dr., Nepean on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 am. *Due to COVID-19, must practice and respect social distancing, and face coverings are required*Private interment will be held at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, at 1:00 pm in the Orthodox Garden section.
