He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria Baba. He is survived by: his sons, Paul (Nina) and Peter (Amber); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Adriana, Elizabeth and Eliana; and his siblings, Youkhana and Elishwa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A burial was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
