He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane (Cybulski); his sons, Paul (Susan), Ross (Trisha) and John (Lise); his stepchildren, Roger Hardy (Jenny) and Michaela Tokarski (Derek); his grandchildren, Alexis, Jenna, Jasmine, Summer, Emily, Abigail, Rachel, Ryan, Blake, Clara and Cole; his great grandchildren, Autumn, River, Jacob, Caleb and Austin; his parents, Arndell McBride and Ellen McBride (Anderson); and his siblings, Henry (Harry), Arthur, Izett, Shirley and Gayle (Paul Stewart).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Andrew's United Church in Westmeath Ontario, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, Ontario or to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
