She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Steinberg and Milledge Illsley. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher (Julie Kelly) and Douglas; and her grandchildren, Caroline, William and Joel.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Alban's Church (454 King Edward Ave, Ottawa, ON K1N7M8).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation in Nance's memory, honoring the care she received.
