We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2025, Neeltje (Wijnsema) Patsouris (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Neeltje's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Neeltje's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lammert Wijnsema and Helena Cornelia (Haan); and her sisters, Maria Cornelia of Wit-Wijnsema and Jacoba Aalberta Wijnsema. She is survived by: her husband Evangelos Patsouris. She is also survived by cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tubman Funeral Homes - Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Maurice Church (4 Perry St, Ottawa, ON K2G1K5). A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery.
