She was predeceased by : her husband Keith O'Connell; her parents, Edward Collins and Euphemia; and her siblings, Emmett, Redmond, Frederick and Donna.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Sharpe (Norm), Mary Jane McAuley (late Joe) and Patricia O'Connell (Peter MacDonald); her grandchildren, Melissa (Rick Allen), Gregory (Leah Hansen), Benjamin, Kate and Neil; her niece Ann (Robert); and her great-niece Emilie.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hearing Foundation of Canada, the Lung Association or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
