She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Smith; her stepson Peter Smith; and her sister Dr. Ivy Michel. She is survived by: her sister Marion Michel; her stepchildren, Meredith Bittle (Neil), Lyell Smith (Leanne), Paul Smith (Sharon) and Carol Wengrowich (Walter); and her stepdaughter-in-law Janet Faszer. She is also survived by many children and grandchildren.
