He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Higginson and Marjorie Higginson. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his former wife Sylvia Hegi; his sons, Ron McKinnon (Marianne) and Mark Hegi (Denise); his grandchildren, David, Natalie, Cheyenne, Alexandre and Emma; and his sibling Adona Dunn. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
