With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Mitchell Arbour (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Arbour and Rita Arbour; his grandparents, Mitchell and Theresa Oakes; his cousin Kenny "Ella" Oakes; and his in-laws, Clara Thompson and Minerva Menard.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Arbour; his son Jeremiah Lazore; his stepchildren, Heather Thompson (John), Lacey Angus (Arnold Casey Jr.), Courtney Angus (Jay) and Peter Angus Jr.; his grandchildren, Kiana, Brendan, Brett, Stormy, Leilanni, Lilleigh, Luna, Jay Jr., Jayce, Quincy, Sophia and Elijah; his great grandchild Braylan; his sister Dawna Arbour Cook (late Jake); and his in-laws, Wanda Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson, Lorraine White, Barbara George, Debbie Thompson, Cecelia Leroux, Donna Arquette and Carl Thompson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Homemaker Centre (1126 River Rd, Akwesasne Reserve No. 15, QC H0M1A1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
