He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Lydia of Switzerland; his daughters, Susan, Rosy, Joan and Cathy; his grandchildren, Renée, Natalie, Luke and Tessa; and his great grandchild Rory.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 20th 2021 at 2:30 PM at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes (403 Richmond Rd, Beckwith, ON K0A1B0).
