We announce the death of Pauline (Rhéaume) Girard (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2026. Pauline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude; her parents, Edgar Rhéaume and Irene Rhéaume; her grandchildren, Martin and Caroline; her son-in-law Michel; and her siblings, Yvon (Monique), Robert, Herve and Diane.
She is survived by: her daughter Claudette (Dale); her grandson Alexandre (Kristina); her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Liam and Cohen; and her siblings, Raoul (Nicole), Paul (Leena), Pierre, Thérèse (Raymond) and Aline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Cemetery (4660 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T0Y7). A reception was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Rd, Orléans, ON K4A 3P7).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson and Dementia Associations would be greatly appreciated by the family.
